I really really hate bringing politics up but to day, i just found out that civil war overhaul by apollodown has been set back to hidden again. Buy wait, why politics?Before the president has been decided, heres a background, mod author apollodown seemed to have got into a forum argument about adding more races to the civil war for diversity reasons.

Some people didnt like that and so a flame war occured.In response, the author have set his mods to hidden as a political statement. It became avaliable after november 9th.The avaliablity of the mod didnt last. I find the mod page hidden again, with no explenation on when it would be avaliable. Presumably this happened because of the controversy of our president elect right now.Now, i have downloaded the current version of the mod alrrady before this whole mess started. But seeing this mod dissapear again just broke my heart. This means that i cannot expect the mod to be updated anymore.Rreguardless of which side you are on during the 2016 elections, and how you feel about donald trump, i feel that we skyrim players have lost an awesome mod, all because we have argued who would be running the united states.If i had things my way, US politics should stay out of our skyrim experience and the modding community.

We should be arguing if the stormcloaks or the empire is right or wrong, not wheather the Republicans or democrats are right or wrong. We all all gamers who love playing skyrim.

And thanks to the election, future skyrim players will never get one of the most ambitiois overhauls ever.Apollodown, i dunno if you are reading this but please, put your mods back up. I know you are making a political statement but unfortunately, we all lose either way because of this.

Maybe it was a good mod but if the author want's it to be hidden he has all the rights to do it. You are correct, He does indeed have the rights to hide it.Still, i get this feeling apollodown might have taken this election to personal because of his haters. That is something that i am questioning. Sometimes you need to have a thick skin cuz there is always some jerk out there that hates you.Reguardless if he has the rights or not, the hard work of making these mods are all wasted. Its not like apollo is making this for money, its a free download. And i think this election may have indirecly plugedged his hard work down the drain.If i were him, i d ignore the haters and not respond to them. Maybe report them.
