Empire Total War Crashing

BEFORE you do the following, go to your Empire folder, go into the redist folder, run the vcredistx86-sp1.exe by right clicking and running as administrator, select REMOVE. Once it completes, restart your computer, go back in and run it again as administrator to reinstall, reboot, and see if that fixes your issue. If it does not, follow the following steps.
Empire Total War Crashing On Load
I've been trying to play the American campaign and I can only ever play about 10 minutes at a time. The crash doesn't give any warning.
Empire Total War Not Launching
Order of the white lotus episode. It just closes to my desktop. I've looked around and seen alot of things talking about this game having issues with windows 7 64 bit.
