Plasterboard Hollow Wall Fixings

Jul 31, 2015  When I downloaded kotor 2 from steam, I downloaded the TSLRCM and KSE (kotor savegame editor). When I started the game, it would crash after the lucas arts logo would display before the main menu appeared. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and had the same problem. I found multiple sources that recommended to try making the following changes to the swkotor2.ini file. May 05, 2017  2) Disable Soft Shadows 3) Try running the game in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3 @willemr1 I think your save file is corrupted and that must be what's causing the crashes. What you have to do is: load a previous file and play through. Kotor 2 cutscene crash

Don't try fixing it to the plasterboard, hang it off the studwork (the wooden uprights the p/b is screwed onto). Use a studfinder if you have one, or the time-honoured 'tapping the wall then drilling a series of small pilot holes 'til you hit something solid' technique. Might be advisable to have a cable and pipe-finder to hand as well.If the studwork isn't in the right place aesthetically for your mirror (e.g. If you want it in the centre of the wall and the studs ain't there) then find the two uprights that span the centre (the centres aren't usually more than 400-450mm apart) and screw a piece of heavy-duty metal strapping to the uprights and hang your mirror off this with a 'picture-rail' type hook. The metalwork should be hidden behind the picture/mirror once it's hung, but obviously do your sums first. For something that heavy I wouldn't trust 'stranded' picture wire, btw, use solid drawn wire instead, and make sure the fixings on the frame are up to the job. I hung a large, heavy and very expensive painting for a client recently, and the 'artist' who also framed the work put the weediest little rinky-dink picture hangers on the back of the frame - totally unsuitable for the job.

Changed them for a pair of steel brackets and all was well.HTHPete.
